A MAN who committed arson at a flat in Southampton has been given a suspended sentence.
Ryan Rogers caused £4,500 worth of damage to the flat in Millbrook Road West.
The building belonged to registered charity The Chasodim Fund – an organisation which provides poverty relief and the advancement of religion and religious education.
Appearing at Southampton Crown Court, Rogers, 22, pleaded guilty to arson.
He was sentenced to 18 months in prison, suspended for two years.
Rogers, of Wyndham Court, Southampton, was also ordered to complete 150 hours of unpaid work and 40 days of rehabilitation activity requirement.
