Firefighters tackle bedroom fire caused by hair drier
FIREFIGHTERS tackled a small fire today (FRI) in a bedroom of a Winchester house.
Two crews were called to Bereweeke Close, Weeke, at 10.30am to a fire involving a hair drier and a carpet.
The fire was extinguished using two sets of breathing apparatus, one hose reel and ventilation fans to remove smoke. The fire was out by 11am.
No-one is believed to have been injured.
