A SOUTHAMPTON woman who stole a power tool and battery from a B&Q store has appeared in court.
Joanne Sheen, 43, stole the Erbauer Grinder, worth £70, from B&Q in Nursling on April 19.
She also stole a Erbauer battery, worth £40, and an accompanying fast charging kit, worth £35, in the same incident.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, Sheen, of Wimpson Lane, Millbrook, pleaded guilty to one count of theft.
She was given a conditional discharge for two years.
Sheen was also ordered to pay court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £20.
