A 71-YEAR-old man will stand trial accused of attempted murder following a serious crash in the New Forest.
Peter Tillman appeared at Winchester Crown Court charged with an allegation of attempted murder and dangerous driving.
It follows a collision involving a Jaguar S-Type, driven by Mr Tillman, and a Mini, on the A337 between Lyndhurst and Brockenhurst on August 20, this year.
The driver of the Mini and the passenger of the Jaguar suffered minor injuries.
Appearing via video link from HMP Bullingdon Mr Tillman pleaded not guilty to both charges.
Judge Keith Cutler CBE adjourned the case until the date of the trial on February 10, next year.
Mr Tillman, of Manchester Road, Sway, was remanded back into custody.
