FIRE crews rushed to a house fire in Eastleigh last night.

Two crews were called to a fire on Leigh Road last night at a property next to a nursery.

Teams from Redbridge and Eastleigh attended the fire next to Cuddles and Care Too at 7.02pm.

The fire was on the ground floor of the property and four breathing apparatus, two hosereels two jets and PPV fan were used to extinguish the blaze.

There was no damage caused to the nursery next door and it is open today as normal. 

No one was injured.
