ROADS and railway lines have been left blocked this morning after torrential rain battered Hampshire overnight.
Heavy rain has blocked all railway lines between Fareham and Eastleigh and South Western Railway says disruption is expected until midday.
Trains are being diverted via St Denys and will not call at Botley or Hedge End, while replacement bus services will run instead of trains between Fareham and Eastleigh.
Meanwhile motorists are being warned of delays on a main Hampshire road this morning.
Drivers travelling on the A36 at Ower, heading southbound, will experience delays due to flooding in the area.
The traffic congestion is heading back towards Bricky Lake Lane, just off the A36.
The delays started at approximately 7.26am.
