A HAMPSHIRE teenager caught using her mobile fine at the wheel has been hit with a court bill of more than £1,000.
Rachael Louise Harman, 19, was caught using her mobile phone while driving a Vauxhall Corsa on the A35 Redbridge Causeway.
The incident took place on December 11 last year.
Harman, of Langdown Lane, Hythe, denied the charge of using a hand-held mobile at the wheel.
But she was found guilty during a trial at Southampton Magistrates' Court last month.
She was fined £500, ordered to pay court costs of £620 and a victim surcharge of £50.
Harman's licence was also endorsed with six points.
