A MAN has been charged with robbery after an alleged incident at a Romsey convenience store.
A man reportedly entered Central Convenience Stores, Botley Road on Friday, December 27 carrying a knife.
He then demanded staff to hand over cash and cigarettes just before 2.20pm.
Ben Timothy Darren Sharpe, 20, of Hunts Pond Road, Park Gate, has been charged with robbery and threatening a person with an offensive weapon in a public place.
He will appear before Southampton Magistrates today (December 30).
