The weather has been exceptionally mild this winter so far and in my garden I have several spring flowers that have not stopped flowering from last spring.
I also have gazanias, roses and schizostylis (Kaffir Lily) still blooming and although I admit that it is an early flowering variety I have one daffodil in full bloom.
That is the very earliest that it has ever flowered.
I believe that the earth is warming up and the burning of fossil fuels will have to be scaled down or we will all rue the consequences.
The horrific fires in Australia come to mind, with all the human suffering it projects and all the poor animals who are being burned and maimed as a consequence.
