FIVE teenagers have been arrested after a man and woman were reportedly threatened by a group, some said to have baseball bats, during an incident in Hythe.
Officers are appealing for information after the incident in Upper Mullins Lane, Hythe.
Police say five males got out of a black car and demanded a man and woman hand over personal belongings.
It was reported some of the males had baseball bats with them.
The man and woman fled the scene and nothing was stolen.
The incident happened around 2.20am on Sunday, January 5.
Five teenagers, one aged 15, three aged 17 and an 18-year-old, have been arrested as part of the police investigation.
They have been released under investigation, while enquiries are ongoing.
