ONE of the world's greatest living explorers will share his adventures on Thursday, April 9 at Lighthouse, Poole's centre for the arts.
Sir Ranulph Fiennes has spent his life in pursuit of the extreme, breaking many records along the way. Amongst his achievements is being the first to reach both Poles, the first to cross the Antarctic and Arctic Ocean, and the first to circumnavigate the world along its polar axis.
Ranulph's current goal is to become the first person in the world to cross both polar ice caps and climb the highest mountain on each of the seven continents.
Over the years, Ranulph's expeditions have raised more than £14 million for UK charities.
His brand new tour, Living Dangerously, will take audiences on a personal journey through Ranulph's life. His tales will span his early childhood and school misdemeanours, through his Army career and the Transglobe Expedition, to his current Global Reach Challenge.
The talk begins at 7.30pm in the Concert Hall. Tickets range from £29.25 to £34.25, available from the Lighthouse website or by contacting the box office.
