On 7th December 2017 a meeting was held by HCC highways in Hamble putting forward highway improvements for Hamble Lane, the busiest 'B' class road in Hampshire and the second highest polluted area in the Eastleigh Borough after the town centre!
The meeting was very well attended and many comments were made by parishioners both in support of some of the proposals and putting forward alternative ideas!
A recent announcement that considerable finance was given to HCC for highway improvements in and around Hamble Lane, so the residents and those working in Hamble will expect it to be used to reduce the delays and pollution!
I believe that those who made comments and suggestions should be told whether the HCC Highways will make changes or stick to their original proposals.
What we all want to see is something done!
