RESIDENTS are invited to have their say at a public meeting on plans for the future development of a Hampshire town.
Those living in Fareham can share their views at the meeting and pop-up exhibition, hosted by Fareham Borough Council.
It comes as a Local Plan Supplement document was developed following a consultation which discussed issues and options in the town last summer.
The document sets out how the council proposes to meet new national housing targets, while identifying a small number of new housing sites and policies, and potential areas for strategic growth.
Cllr Keith Evans, executive member for planning and development, said: "The Local Plan is so important for the future of the Borough, so we want to engage with as many people as possible to hear people’s views.”
The first two Community Action Team (CAT) meetings will take place this month from 6pm until 7.30pm, while exhibitions will be held before meetings at the following venues from 5pm to 6pm:
• Friday January 24 – The Garage Room, Titchfield Community Centre
• Monday January 27 – Brookfield Community School, Sarisbury Green
In addition, separate pop up exhibitions will take place in January at:
• Portchester Parish Hall - January 31 from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.
