A WOMAN has been found guilty of being three-and-a-half times the drink-drive limit.

Tuulia Elizabeth Smith, 42, was caught drink-driving in Burley Street, Ringwood, on September 13.

When breathalysed by officers, she was found to have 129 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

The legal limit is 35 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath – meaning she was three-and-a-half times the drink-drive limit.

Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, Smith, of Burley Street, Ringwood, denied drink-driving.

But she was found guilty following a trial at the same count.

She was remanded on bail to appear for sentencing at Southampton Magistrates' Court on February 12.

Smith was giving an interim driving ban until the next hearing.
