Were already in February and there has been no sign of snow yet this winter, but back in 1954 it was a very different story in Southampton.
This photograph from the Daily Echo archives shows vehicles on sale at the old Sidford Car Sales in Sidford Street, near the top of Four Posts Hill, under a thick blanket of snow.
In the background is the former Hill Top Inn, demolished in 1972 for redevelopment.
