A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder in Gosport.
A MAN has been stabbed to death at a house in Gosport.
Police have arrested a 55-year-old man on suspicion of murder after a man suffered a stab wound.
Officers were called to a house on Harwood Road, Bridgemary, Gosport, at 3.15pm yesterday.
The 53-year-old man from Gosport was pronounced dead at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed and officers are carrying out enquiries in the area today.
A Hampshire Police spokesperson said: "We will be in the area throughout the day conducting our enquiries so if any residents have any concerns, please speak to our officers.
"At this stage we believe this is an isolated incident and there is no wider risk to the community."
