RESIDENTS have been asked to visit a feedback workshop on plans for a new estate in the Test Valley.

Following the consultation day in January, a drop in weekend will take place in Romsey Town Centre to view the insight and feedback on the Whitenap proposals which was collected on the January session.

The planned Whitenap development, set to be built by The Ashfield Partnership, is a new neighbourhood near Romsey. The scheme will have more than 1,300 homes and will also feature a primary school, a community hall and local centre, as well as cycle links to the A27 using a new bridge over the railway line.

It is set to offer a mix of homes where approximately “40 percent of the properties would be affordable housing”.

The “pop up engagement shop” will take place at 39 The Hundred, Romsey on Thursday, February 6, Friday, February 7 and Saturday, February 8 between 10am and 4pm.
