Kevin Keegan in 1981
IT IS August, 1981 and Saints’ hero Kevin Keegan was mobbed by autograph hunters when 300 schoolboy footballers called in at the Dell in Southampton.
The boys were taking a break from a five-day soccer coaching course in Southampton to meet Saints players and staff.
Kevin had joined Saints in 1980, spending two seasons at the club.
Kevin, 68, retired after leaving Newcastle United as manager in 2008.
