DID you see this strange-looking object in the sky over Bradford this morning?
Was it a rocket, as the Telegraph & Argus reader who sent us this picture thought.
The reader, who did not wish to be named, spotted the strange object in the sky over Beacon Road in Bradford at around 7.20am today. It appears to have a vertical pink-red coloured line below the darker-coloured object.
The reader said: “It was really eerry. The sky was red. I have never seen anything like it.
“I was driving on my way to work and saw it at the top of Beacon Road.
“It almost reminded me of watching a rocket taking off in Florida.
“It lasted for about 15 to 20 minutes, that’s how long I saw it for. It stayed in the same position for a while. It was stationary for about 10 minutes.”
The aerial image was also captured by another T&A reader, who was in Leeds at the time, here is that picture:
But another reader, Donald Tyne, also saw the same thing and believes it was not a rocket.
He said: "I was walking at the top of Manchester Road at the same time this morning, I was on my way to work.
"It was definately a large aircraft."
