I WOULD like to add to letter in reference to toilet facilities in Woolston.

After hearing of removable plan for a toilet at the bridge link – I don’t think many people used that anyway as there are many reasons for people not to trust techno gadgets – I believe that Woolston, alongside many areas in Southampton, has a definite lack of public toilets.

There is a definite need for people of all ages.

Southampton City Council needs to address this.

I’ve lived in Southampton all my life and can remember when one didn’t need to go far between toilet access.

I know there is upkeep and costs for such, but even how it used to be – paying a penny – is better than nowt.

Not everyone is willing or confidently able to go and ask in a cafe.
