A SAINTS fan was arrested last night over alleged anti-Semitism.
Hampshire Police's Football Unit say the fan was arrested over an alleged anti-Semitic comment during Saints' 3-2 FA Cup Fourth Round Replay defeat to Spurs at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The Daily Echo has contacted the Metropolitan Police and Saints for a comment.
Last night's FA Cup replay got off to a bad start for Saints when Tanguy Ndombele's strike took an unfortunate deflection off Saints defender Jack Stephens and past Angus Gunn for an own goal.
But Shane Long managed to pull one back before half-time, before Saints took the lead through a Danny Ings strike.
Tottenham's Lucas Moura levelled six minutes later before a late penalty by Heung-Min Son won it for the home side.
