THE woman who works for the company behind Candy Crush Saga passed on her knowledge as the Yorkshire Games Festival continues in Bradford.

Sabrina Carmona, Senior Producer at King who worked on Farm Heroes Saga, gave an insight about the development of the studio’s market-leading mobile games.

King, known for Candy Crush Saga, develops more than 200 fun titles that are enjoyed all around the world.

During her talk, held at the National Science and Media Museum today, she explained the development process of mobile games.

Candy Crush Saga is a free-to-play match-three puzzle video game, first released in 2012. In the game, players complete levels by swapping coloured pieces of candy on a game board to make a match of three or more of the same colour.

Her talk was one of a number of events taking place at the festival. Today's other events included talks from Mike Bithell, Game Director and Writer at Bithell Games, on the making of John Wick Hex. The British Esports Association also gave a talk today.

Friday's action includes a talk by gaming journalist Alysia Judge and a discussion on a virtual pirate world game.

The Yorkshire Games Festival runs until Sunday.
