A DRIVER caught speeding through a temporary speed limit on a Hampshire motorway has been fined.
Glenn Taylor Brighty, 28, was caught speeding at 61mph through the 50mph temporary speed limit on the M27.
Brighty was driving a BMW at the time of the offence, which took place on April 27.
The temporary speed limit, which is enforced by average speed cameras, has been in place since January last year.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, Brighty, of St Chad's Avenue, Portsmouth, pleaded guilty to one count of speeding.
He was fined £100, ordered to pay court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £30.
His driving licence was also endorsed with three points.
