A MAN accused of murdering a Southampton grandfather has appeared in court today.
Joshua Perry, 28, of Bursledon Road, Southampton, appeared at Southampton Magistrates' Court this morning charged with murder, possession of a bladed article and possession of amphetamine - a controlled class B drug.
It comes following the death of Southampton man John Perry, whose body was found in a flat on Bursledon Road just after 9pm on February 5.
Perry spoke only to confirm his name, date of birth and address.
He was not required to enter a plea and was remanded in custody to appear at Winchester Crown Court on Wednesday, February 12.
