THE Kings Barton Forum has raised concerns following the fatal road crash near the development on the edge of Winchester.
The forum has agreed to write to the county council's Safer Roads, Casualty Reduction Team regarding the death of Robert George Soper, 81, of Bereweeke Road, Winchester, who was in collision with a car on Andover Road North on January 10. An inquest has been opened and adjourned.
A safe crossing of, and road safety on Andover Road are among the main issues for the Kings Barton Residents Association
The forum also heard of the progress of development of the 2,000-home estate with all 223 dwellings at Phase 1B now sold.
