A Premiership match between Rangers and Livingston has been postponed as Storm Dennis batters Glasgow.

The storm made the surface unplayable and at 12.30pm the Govan pitch failed its inspection.

The match has been rescheduled for Sunday, Ferbuary 16 at 3pm.

A spokesman said: "Rangers can confirm that the match against Livingston FC, which was postponed earlier this afternoon, will take place tomorrow (Sunday, February 16) with a 3pm kick off.

"The club apologises for any inconvenience caused."

Ibrox Stadium is not the only pitch facing waterlogged conditions, and a number of other matches are also off.

The meeting between Brechin City and Annan Athletic was the first match to fall victim to Storm Dennis due to a waterlogged Glebe Park pitch.

Motherwell's Premiership meeting with St Mirren was also called off following a pitch inspection. With the prospect of further rain, the match was called off at 10.30am.

Ayr United's Championship meeting with Morton at Somerset Park also failed its inspection earlier this morning.

A weather warning has been in place since 7am on Saturday and are expected to last until 8pm as rain and strong winds hit Glasgow.

The weather warnings follow the treacherous weather brought by Storm Ciara.

Last weekend's storm left many pitches across Scotland near saturation point.
