PART of West Quay has been cordoned off as police investigate a rape allegation.
It was reported that a woman in her 20s was assaulted at the shopping centre this morning.
The investigation is in its early stages and is ongoing.
Police say the call came in around 8.07am.
The cordon is still in place to the right of the entrance to John Lewis off Harbour Parade.
A police van is parked up on the pavement.
Blue tape is marking off the prohibited zone.
In the area, police officers can be seen continuing their enquiries.
