A BANK card was stolen from a vehicle and used to buy goods at a Bournemouth supermarket and petrol station.

Police reported that the card was taken from the vehicle in Corhampton Road on the night of Wednesday, January 22.

It was used to carry out two transactions totalling £38.79 at the Shell garage in Holdenhurst Road and Asda in St Paul's Road the following morning.

Officers investigating the theft and fraudulent use of the card in Bournemouth have issued a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to.

Police Community Support Investigator Roslyn Curtis, of Dorset Police, said: “We are continuing to make enquiries into this matter and I have obtained a CCTV image of a man who is believed to have used the stolen card.

“I would urge anyone with information as to his identity to please contact us.”
