FANS can enjoy the music of David Bowie as a supergroup performing his works head to The 1865 in an impressive coup for the Southampton venue.

Long time David Bowie collaborator, record producer and original bass player Tony Visconti teamed with original Spiders From Mars drummer Woody Woodmansey and an all star band, Holy Holy, will be live on stage on Tuesday March 10.

Expect Bowie hits from 1969 - 1973 and beyond played by Bowie’s original rhythm section backed by a supergroup featuring Glenn Gregory (vocal); Paul Cuddeford and James Stevenson (guitars) Jessica Lee Morgan (sax and 12 string) and piano/ keyboard maestro Janette Mason.

Endorsed by Bowie himself, who was excited to hear Tony & Woody’s plan to play The Man Who Sold The World album live for the first time and was fully supportive of the pair’s choice of Glenn Gregory delivering vocals, this is certainly no tribute act - this is the real deal.

The brilliant tracks set to be performed on the night will include The Jean Genie, Space Oddity, Starman, Ziggy Stardust and Rebel Rebel.

The gig came about after Heaven 17 visited the venue and vocalist Glenn Gregory loved the venue enough to persuade the supergroup to do a warm up date there.

There are only 700 tickets available, priced £32.50.
