Ellesmere Town Council held a session teaching residents how to use defibrillators at the town hall on Thursday.
More than 20 people attended the session, given by first responder Effie Cadwallader, where attendees were given instructions on how to successfully give CPR and use the defibrillator.
A council spokesman said: "We would like to express our thanks to Effie for her excellent delivery of defibrillator training, and would also like to thank all who attended, making the session a great success."
Another session could be put on with enough numbers.
