A POLICE hunt has been launched after four teenage boys were robbed in Hampshire.

Officers have launched an investigation after a man reportedly robbed a group of teenage boys in Locks Heath on Friday February 21.

Between 3pm and 3.15pm, the man was said to approach the group on Crescent Park Road, before threatening them, demanding their belongings and striking one of the boys in the head.

The man was described as being aged 17 or 18, around 5ft 10ins tall with light coloured hair and a slim build.

He was also reported to be wearing a black jacket with a zip-up front, similar to a rain proof jacket with a hood.

Now officers have started patrols in the area and have been conducting enquiries in the area.

A Hampshire Police spokesperson said: "We are appealing for witnesses to help identify a man who reportedly robbed a group of four teenage boys in Locks Heath on Friday 21 February. One of the boys was then struck in the head, but was uninjured.

"We have been carrying out patrols and enquiries in the local area and scoping CCTV, and we would also like to ask anyone who was in the area at the time of the offence if they saw anyone matching this description.

"This incident happened in broad daylight and Iā€™m sure other people would have been in the area at the time this man was. If you can help us identify this person, please make contact with us.ā€
