FIREFIGHTERS were called when a fire broke out in the engine compartment of a Mini late this afternoon.
Crews were called to Telford Street in Atherton at around 5pm.
The driver was alerted to smoke coming from the engine compartment and pulled into a side street.
Crews were on the scene for 30 minutes.
The cause of the fire is said to be electrical.
