WINCHESTER’S most popular annual running event saw hundreds of runners as it returned on the weekend.
The 10k, which is now in its 37th consecutive year, began outside the Guildhall on Sunday and saw participants pound the pavement up through St George’s Street before going out towards Kingsworthy.
On the way back runners went through Headbourne Worthy and finished at North Walls Recreation Ground back in Winchester.
The next major running event in the city is Winchester Half Marathon, which will be held on Sunday, September 20.
