A SOUTHAMPTON man has been handed a restraining order after he assaulted a woman twice.
Abdeali Khalil, 46, assaulted the victim by beating on October 24 and October 25 in Southampton.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, he pleaded guilty to two accounts of assault by beating.
Khalil, of Bitterne Road West, Southampton, was handed a restraining order banning him from contacting the woman and was fined a total of £400.
He was also ordered to pay a £90 victim surcharge and £620 court costs.
