A WHOLE host of legendary music stars are in line to showcase their talents at the this year's Isle of Wight Festival.

But a second announcement has also brought top bands Black Eyed Peas, All Saints and You Me At Six into the mix.

Mixing hip-hop, pop, and electro tunes as early as 1995, the Los Angeles trio of Will.i.am, Apl.de.ap and Taboo in Black Eyed Peas are raising the bar again.

These acts will join 2020 headliners and legendary music icons Lionel Richie, Lewis Capaldi, Snow Patrol, My Chemical Brothers and Duran Duran.

Marking its iconic 50th anniversary this year - which makes it the UK's oldest festival - Happy Mondays, Primal Scream and Kaiser Chiefs will bring their hard-hitting music game to the weekend's Big Top stage.

Other acts already announced across the weekend include special guest Pete Tong, Becky Hill, Sam Fender, James Arthur, Supergrass, Dido, Sigma (DJ set), Shed Seven, Example, Maisie Peters, The Manor and JC Stewart.

The festival cemented its place within pop history with performances from Jimi Hendrix, The Who and Joni Mitchell in 1968.

This year will see Jimi Hendrix tribute act Are You Experienced? honour the perfect soundtrack to walk down memory lane.

Performing ahead of them will be Southampton-based garage group FooR, who took the UK bass scene by storm in 2018 with their album Friends Of FooR smashing into the Top 10 of the Official UK Dance Charts.

Crowds can also expect to see performances from pop group LONA, Grammy winner and singer Natasha Bedingfield, and indie rock icons Razorlight, among many others.

Isle of Wight Festival 2020 takes over Seaclose Park, Newport, from June 11 to 14.
