SAINTS legend Francis Benali and renowned chef Jay Geddes will host a charity dinner cruise across the south coast.

For a third time since the culinary event first launched in 2015, all guests will be taken on an evening tour in a bid to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

Diners will be hitching a ride on the Dutch-owned Princess Caroline for four and a half hours for the Come Dine With Me Summer Evening Cruise, with dinners served up by winners of cooking series Masterchef, Shelina Permalloo and Jane Devonshire.

The cruise will include live music from Southampton singer Charley Macauley and mind-blowing tricks from one of the UK’s top magicians, Michael Brown - all topped off with a champagne reception.

Franny said: “This is a great chance for people to come together for an evening of wonderful food, good music and beautiful views of the south coast - and to raise money for this amazing charity at the same time.

“Cancer Research UK will benefit from the proceeds of the evening, and that makes me very happy. With Chef Jay Geddes and friends cooking up three delicious courses, I have absolutely no doubt it will be an evening to remember for all concerned."

Chef Jay Geddes has served up dishes to A-list stars such as Beyonce and Jay Z, and used to work for Gordon Ramsay.

Jay said: “We are very keen on raising money for Cancer Research because cancer is the biggest killer.

“I’m delighted to be welcoming some amazing guest chefs for our dinner cruise - our guests are in for a real treat."

The cruise is limited to 100 guests and leaves Town Quay - opposite Red Funnel - at 6.30pm on July 30.

Tickets cost £70 per person and can be bought at www.jaygeddes.com/events.
