A FRUIT machine was found dumped in Bishopstoke this morning, following a pub raid, police have confirmed.
At around 5am this morning, the River Inn pub on Fair Oak Road, Bishopstoke was burgled, with offenders stealing a fruit machine.
Shortly after, at around 5.20am, officers received a call reporting that the machine was found in the middle of a car park in Stoke Park Woods.
The fruit machine was ripped apart, with the cash stolen from the inside.
Now, officers are appealing for witnesses of the incident to come forward with information.
A Hampshire Police spokesperson said: "We were called at 5am this morning (9 March) to the River Inn, Fair Oak Road, Bishopstoke, to a report of a burglary. Entry was forced overnight and a fruit machine was stolen. We received a call at 5.21 reporting the fruit machine had been found in Stoke Park Woods."
