A SOUTHAMPTON man has been banned from the roads after he was caught drug driving.
Garath Roy George Cross, 43, was caught drug driving in a Vauxhall Astra on Station Road in Park Gate on August 5.
He was found to have Benzoylecgonine - a break-down component of cocaine - in his blood.
Cross was also found to be driving without a licence or insurance.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, he pleaded guilty to one account of drug driving, one account of driving without insurance and one account of driving without a licence.
Cross, of Garretts Close, Southampton, was disqualified from driving for three years and fined £750.
He was also ordered to pay a £50 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
