A SOUTHAMPTON woman who bit and spat at two men has been handed a suspended sentence.
Dawn Elizabeth Cornford, 39, assaulted a man by spitting at him, and assaulted another by biting on December 23.
Cornford appeared at court on March 6 - her fifth time in court for violence.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, she pleaded guilty to two accounts of assault.
Cornford, of Golden Grove, Southampton, was committed to four month in prison suspended for 12 month and handed a community order.
She was also ordered to pay a £122 victim surcharge.
