A GROUP of men attacked a pedestrian leaving him with serious injuries last night.
At around 7.40pm on Tuesday two cars pulled in to Didcot Road, Southampton, and a group of men got out of both vehicles.
The men then approached a pedestrian and seriously assaulted him before getting back in their cars and driving off.
The injured man remains in hospital with serious, yet not life threatening injuries.
Police are now appealing for witnesses.
A police spokesperson said: "Were you in the area at around the time of the incident?
"Did you see or hear anything? If you have any information please call us on 101, quoting 44200091346.
"Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
