A MAN has been jailed for 12 weeks after pretending he needed cash to access a home which looks after families while a child is in hospital.
Anthony James Loveridge, 30, was caught committing fraud by dishonestly making a false representation that he needed £150 for a refundable deposit to get a key card at Ronald Mcdonald House.
Loveridge was intending to keep the money for himself after making the claims at a cashpoint near Swanwick Railway Station, on Botley Road, Southampton.
Appearing at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court by live link, of HMP Channings Wood, Devon, pleaded guilty to one count of fraud.
