Coronavirus COVID-19 swabs
MORE than one thousand people across the UK who were in hospital with coronavirus have now died, the Department of Health and Social Care has confirmed.
In an update released on the afternoon of Saturday, March 28, the government department said 1,019 people in the UK who had tested positive for COVID-19 had died, as of 5pm on Friday.
As of 9am on the morning of March 28, 120,776 people had been tested, with 17,089 positive results.
