TRIBUTES have been paid to a Hampshire pedestrian who died after an accident with a car.

Sheila Watson, 74, of Haydock Close, Totton, was taken to hospital after she was seriously injured in a collision with a Volkswagen Tiguan, just after 3.30pm last Monday.

She died in hospital three days later.

In a statement issued through Hampshire police her family said: "She was a lovely, kind and thoughtful lady who would do anything for anyone.

“She was loved by so many. She will be greatly missed by us all, our hearts are broken.”

Police officers say they are investigating the exact circumstances of the collision.

They are keen to speak with anyone who may be able to help with the investigation who has not already come forward.
