RAILWAY works will see the closure of a Hampshire road that could cause delays.
Network Rail will be carrying out work at the Totton level crossing on April 4 and 5.
The works will see the closure of Junction Road, Totton, and motorists will face a three mile diversion route.
The road will be closed to allow workers tamper access and carry out track maintenance.
Motorists will be diverted north-west on Maynard Road.
They should take the first exit at the roundabout and then take the third exit onto Ringwood Road.
At the next roundabout, take the third exit onto Commercial Road and then keep right to merge onto Redbridge Causeway.
Take the M271 sliproad to M27 London and at the roundabout take the fourth exit.
Take the A35 exit to Redbridge flyover and keep right to continue to Totton.
Turn left onto Rumbridge Street and left onto Junction Road.
