YOUNGSTERS enjoyed a day of entertainment and amusement when they learned about wildlife in Southampton when they visited Mansel Park, Millbrook, Southampton.
The fun on offer included nature trails, crafts and games and was organised by the city’s Hawthorne Urban Wildlife Trust, which is based on Southampton Common.
On that day, August 13, 1998, younger kids enjoyed getting stuck into the clay model making during the morning and afternoon session at the park, while others had fun playing games of street hockey.
