Police have closed the M3 between junction 12 and 11 northbound.
A HAMSPHIRE motorway has been reopened after police launched an investigation into a serious accident this morning.
Officers closed the M3 between junction 12 and 11, Chandler's Ford to Winchester, northbound following a serious single vehicle collision.
The carriageway was closed for around six hours while officers carried out investigations into the crash, and removed the vehicle.
Emergency services were called at 11am this morning to the single vehicle collision that was described as serious.
There has been no update on the person(s) in the car.
