FIRE crews have released images of a blaze which destroyed the roof of a Hampshire bungalow.
About 40 firefighters from across Hampshire battled the blaze, which broke out at a property in Gardeners Lane, East Wellow, at around 10pm on Friday.
Fire crews from four stations - Eastleigh, Redbridge, Romsey and St Mary’s - rushed to the scene and were there until 1am the next day.
The bungalow is some distance from other homes in the area and residents said they were unaware of the incident at the time.
A post on Romsey fire station’s Facebook page said: “Both appliances were sent to a house fire in Wellow.
“Joined by our colleagues from Redbridge, St Mary’s & Eastleigh. Crews worked hard for hours attacking above & below the fire.
“No person’s injured too. Great team effort.”
