RETIRED nurses have been doing their bit to help their former workplace.
The Royal Hampshire County Hospital (RHCH) Nurses’ League is mostly retired nurses who trained at the hospital.
They have donated fruit to the staff of each ward, including accident and emergency and intensive care.
Moireach Harmer, assistant honorary secretary, RHCH Nurses’ League, said Cobbs of Winchester (The Good Life at Headbourne Worthy) assisted in ordering all the fruit and supplying enough boxes so that it could be divided up for easy delivery to the wards.
