It’s been eight years since the glorious day when Saints triumphed over Coventry and secured their return to the Premier League.
This week the Daily Echo revisited that exceptional day of April 28, 2012, and now it takes look back at one of the essential ingredients – the fans.
The crushing four-goal demolition of Coventry City took place in front of a record-breaking 32,363 crowd before they transformed the green pitch in to a sea of red and white.
