I WAS BORN in Southampton on 28th December 1947.
My parents were John and Lily Harder.
Due to my father being a serviceman - Royal Army Service Corps - we spent
many years abroad - Malaya and Nigeria.
I left the UK in 1966 was stationed in Sharjah followed by Germany.
In 1970 I married a German lady and decided to live in West Germany - as it was then known.
After a lot of consideration I returned to the home of my birth September 2018.
It was time to return and learn about the town I was born in.
Fifty-two years is a long time and in this time I have lost contact with many of my relatives.
